New country, new website.
I apologize to anyone that tried to visit recently and found my website down. What began as a couple of minor tweaks revealed the need for some major renovations. I am really happy with the new look and features, even if it was an unexpected (and rather long) detour to get here. I hope you like the new site too. Take it for a spin and let me know what you think!
Fall 2011 saw the close of my solo exhibition at the Wisconsin Union Galleries. Thank you to everyone that was able to see the show and share their impressions of it with me. It was a great opportunity to show my sculptural work to a new audience in Madison, as well as a lovely way to part ways (temporarily) with the Midwest.
The end of 2011 brought my big move to Jerusalem, Israel where I’ll be for nine months. It has been an extraordinary experience so far. I am very fortunate to be able to dedicate this time to creative pursuits and travel, and to completely immerse myself in such a unique place. I’ve been doing my best to explore different parts of the country. There is so much beauty and history to be found—I feel I’ve been collecting inspiration everywhere. I look forward to sharing some new work once I return to the states along with some design projects that I completed for the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art before leaving Madison. As much fun as travel is, I am not very well equipped for documenting or publishing work from the road. I really look forward to sharing more with you later this year!
